The Foreman of the jury was one of twelve men and women in attendance at Weatherfield Crown Court who listened to the evidence presented at the trial of Frank Foster between January and February 2012 for raping Carla Connor. After a short deliberation, they returned to the courtroom where, to cries of surprise from some quarters, he announced their unanimous verdict of "not guilty".
