David Gilmore appeared on Coronation Street in January 1974 as Frank, a customer at Mario's Restaurant where Jerry Booth and Mavis Riley dined.
His other credits include roles in The Doctors, The Roads to Freedom, Crown Court and the short film entitled Waiting For....
He later became a theatre director with many productions to his name including Our Country's Good, Daddy Long Legs, Bully Boy, Scenes From A Marriage, Daisy Pulls It Off, Lend Me a Tenor, The Hired Man, Grease, Defending the Caveman and All the Fun of the Fair.
