Rosemary Martin (born 17th December 1936 in Birmingham, died 14th August 1998 in Torbay, Devon) appeared on Coronation Street in October 1975 as Ginny Spencer, landlady of the New Old Inn.

Her other television credits included roles in Compact, Emergency-Ward 10, Hugh and I, Last of the Summer Wine, Crown Court, Second Time Around, How's Your Father?, Looking for Clancy, Oh No, It's Selwyn Froggitt, Clayhanger, Bill Brand, Life Begins at Forty, Fox, My Father's House, Wilfred and Eileen, The Glamour Girls, Tenko, Driving Ambition, Breaking Up, Bergerac, Stay Lucky, Smith & Jones, Chalkface, Gone to the Dogs, The Bill, Middlemarch, Drop the Dead Donkey, Seaforth, Cracker, Outside Edge, The Ruth Rendell Mysteries, Annie's Bar, EastEnders and The Scold's Bridle.

Film roles included It Shouldn't Happen to a Vet, Tess, Britannia Hospital and The Dressmaker.

On stage, she appeared in productions of Oom-Pah-Pah, Mother Courage and her Children, The Apple Cart, The Flanders Mare and Macbeth for Bristol Old Vic and Early Days, The Government Inspector, The Women, The Strangeness of Others, The March on Russia, Angels in America and Stages for the National Theatre. Other works include Under Milk Wood, Private Lives, See How They Run, Convolvulus, The Odd Couple, Cat Among the Pigeons, Blithe Spirit, The Patrick Pearse Motel, Our Town, Hadrian VII and A Grand Knight Out.
