Anna Gymer (born 1935 in Jarrow, died 19th August 2019 in Grange-over-Sands) appeared on Coronation Street in two roles: firstly in January 1961 as Glynis, a worker from Elliston's Raincoat Factory with Sheila Birtles and Doreen Lostock. She returned to the programme in November 1969 as a Ward Sister when the residents were hospitalised following a coach crash in the Lake District.
Her other credits include Knight Errant Limited, The Liars, Mr Rose, The Lovers, Crown Court and When the Boat Comes In.
On stage, she appeared in a 1974 production of Gaslight alongside Patricia Phoenix and Alan Browning.
