Jane Macnaught (c.1958 - 28th April 2014) worked as a producer on Coronation Street from 1999 to 2000, and became executive producer in 2000 until 2002 when she was suddenly axed in October 2001. Her first job was as a Marks & Spencer trainee personnel manager - a job that didn't suit her. In the early 1980s, she spent two years as a production assistant on the Street, before moving on to other shows.[1] Her other credits include producing editions of Stars In Their Eyes and University Challenge.
She died in April 2014, aged 59.
