Maisie Gatley is the daughter of Christian Gatley and the granddaughter of Hayley Cropper. She has a younger brother called Sam.
When Hayley made contact for the first time in six years with son Christian in September 2013, she had discovered he was married and had two children - Maisie and her younger brother Sam. However, he was reluctant to introduce them to Hayley, as she was a transsexual and his biological father.
In December, Christian returned asking Hayley for £5,000 in order to clear his debts and offered to bring his children. He later arrived at Roy's Rolls with Maisie and Sam in tow. While Hayley was negotiating with Christian over the money in the flat upstairs, her husband Roy showed Maisie his train set. Christian and the children promptly left once he had received a cheque from Hayley.
