The unnamed Man was a customer in A. Crabtree Fish & Chips in June 1983. Proprietor Archie Crabtree had died a few weeks before and his sister Hilda Ogden expected to inherit as his only kith and kin, but counter assistant Avril Carter claimed she had been Archie's mistress and the shop was hers. After a battle of several weeks, Hilda had just claimed victory from Avril when the man called in. She bit his head off when he asked for fish and chips twice. Annoyed, he pointed out that he was a customer not the rent man.
