Mark Appleton was an Underworld client of Luke Strong's who complained about the standard of knickers in the factory. He first talked to the factory girls about his problem and when Julie Carp claimed she was supervisor, Mark offended her by calling her "a monkey". He then talked to Tony Gordon who managed to appease Mark and Tony later berated Luke for upsetting customers. Mark later doubled the order when Luke gave him some Manchester United tickets.
