Mr Burrows was a prospective buyer of 8 Coronation Street, who viewed the house when it was on the market on 18th January 2010, along with his wife and daughter Jess. He and his wife were interested in the house until resident David Platt, aiming to put off any buyers, told the family that the street contained murderers and paedophiles. After that, they were considerably less interested in the house.
