Zulema Dene (born "Zulema Noel Walliker" on 21st May 1934 in Paddington, London; died 16th September 2022 also in London) appeared on Coronation Street in two roles: firstly in June 1973 as dance teacher Muriel Chaplin; and she returned to the programme between September 1992 and February 1993 as Sarah Brookes, the sister of Ted Sullivan.

One of her earliest television roles was that of Sister Wright in Emergency-Ward 10 from 1965 to 1967, and she went onto appear in The Mock Doctor, Dr. Finlay's Casebook, John Browne's Body, The Fenn Street Gang, Yanks Go Home, Crown Court, A Question of Guilt, Fresh Fields, A Very British Coup, Bad Boyes, Mr. Majeika, French Fields and Love Hurts.

On stage, she appeared in productions of The Gazebo, Difference of Opinion, Hotel Paradiso, Under Milk Wood, A Taste of Honey, Rookery Nook, Spring and Port Wine, The Rivals, The School for Scandal, The Pay-Off, Habeas Corpus, Motherdear and The Importance of Being Earnest.
