Patricia Cutts as Blanche Hunt in the first of her two appearances
Patricia Cutts (20th July 1926 - 6th September 1974) was the first actress on Coronation Street to play Blanche Hunt, but she only ever appeared in two episodes before being found dead in her London flat, the verdict being suicide. The part of Blanche was soon after recast to Maggie Jones.
