Pauline Mansell was Carla Barlow's solicitor and her services were called in when Carla was suspected of the attempted murder of Tina McIntyre in June 2014. Pauline arrived at Carla's flat not having heard of the case and therefore assumed that it was on Underworld business, for which she didn't feel qualified to act. Carla told her the facts and Pauline agreed to represent her if she was called in for questioning again, telling her to call her day or night when the police next got in touch.
