Mark Drewry (born 29th April 1955 in Doncaster, died 19th October 2004 in London) appeared on Coronation Street in January 1976 as Philip Harper, who went on a date with Tricia Hopkins.

Trained at the Webber Douglas Academy, he began his professional career at the Bristol Old Vic, and went on to appear in a variety of leading and character roles at The Hampstead Theatre, Oxford Playhouse, Belgrade Coventry, The Royal Exchange, Manchester and made appearances at the Edinburgh Festival.

His other credits included roles in Snacker, Angels, Crown Court, Juliet Bravo, Annika, Fell Tiger, Fortunes of War, A Very Peculiar Practice, EastEnders, Prime Suspect 3, The Bill, The Choir, Our Friends in the North, The Unknown Soldier and Dinnerladies, along with the films Remembrance, Privates on Parade, King David and About a Boy.

He was critically injured in a road accident when he was knocked off his bike by a car in February 2002 on his way home after rehearsals at the Bush Theatre, London for Richard Cameron's The Glee Club, and died as a result of his injuries almost three years later.
