The Police Officer had two dealings with Coronation Street residents in 2007.
In October 2007, he and a male colleague attended the scene when David Platt had driven his car into the canal. The officers spoke to a man who was the only witness to the incident and were present when David's car was raised from the water.
December of the same year saw the officer and a colleague arrive at 13 Coronation Street to arrest Kevin Webster on suspicion of assault. Kevin had attacked John Stape in the street on Christmas Day after finding out that his eldest daughter, Rosie, had been having an affair with the teacher.
