Roy Maxwell (born 1932 in Salford, died 12th September 2016 in New South Wales, Australia) played six roles on Coronation Street:
- A postman who appeared in February 1961 and April 1963
- A cashier at the Viaduct Sporting Club in April 1964
- PC Skidmore in May 1965
- Alf Whittham in July 1966
- An RAC Man in February 1971
- P.C. Jones in September and October of the same year.
He also appeared in the first episode of the spin-off Pardon the Expression as the 1st Teller in the bank that Leonard Swindley visited.
His other credits include roles in Shadow Squad, Family Solicitor, Here's Harry, The Man in Room 17, City '68, Hadleigh, The Dustbinmen, Tom Grattan's War, Crown Court and True Believers.
