The Prison Officer was on duty when Gail McIntyre was first remanded in custody for the murder of husband Joe, a charge of which she was wholly innocent. She inducted her when she was remanded for trial at Redford Prison. She later brought prisoner Lyn Fulwood to share Gail’s cell and also took Gail to see her solicitor when he bought her the good news that a witness, the cleaner Anka, had come forward as a witness to her innocence.
