The Prisoner was inducted into Redford Prison at the same time as Gail McIntyre in March 2010. Gail was numb with shock, being remanded in custody pending her trial for the murder of her husband Joe and handed over her belongings at the reception counter quietly. The other woman, by contrast, was screaming to see her kids as two prisoner officers forcefully dragged her away behind Gail.
