Arnold Yarrow (born 17th April 1920 in London) appeared on Coronation Street in September 1965 as the surveyor who investigated the collapse of No.7.

He both wrote for and appeared in EastEnders, was a writer and script editor on Barlow At Large; script editor for Softly Softly: Task Force and Second Verdict; wrote for Crown Court, Warship and Suspense; and as actor, had roles in episodes of ITV Television Playhouse, The Andromeda Breakthrough, Crane, Life with Cooper, Dr. Finlay's Casebook, Doctor Who, Armchair Theatre, The Onedin Line, Jemima Shore Investigates and London's Burning .

On stage, he appeared in Day of the Prince at the Royal Court Theatre, and Twelfth Night, Macbeth, The Merchant of Venice for the Royal Shakespeare Company, as well as A Gust of Wind, Eastward Ho! and Birds in the Wilderness.
