The unnamed Taxi Driver drove Mike Baldwin to the Club Carmen, a Spanish nightclub where he went to drown his sorrows after a fall-out with wife Susan, charging £1.80 for the journey. Mike thought the club looked dodgy but the driver told him was alright and not run by a Spaniard but by a woman called Mabel. He also told Mike that it would serve its purpose for what he wanted and wished him luck.
