Alan Olanrewaju Igbon (born 29th May 1952 in Hulme, died 9th December 2020 in Manchester) appeared on Coronation Street in two roles: firstly in July 1974 and between March and April 1975 as soldier Steve Baker, who helped colleague Martin Downes track down his mother, Bet Lynch; and he returned to the programme between March and September 2003 as Tony Stewart, father of Jason Grimshaw (however Terence Maynard took over the role when the character returned in January 2014).

His other television credits included roles in Crown Court, Life Begins at Forty, Angels, Boys from the Blackstuff, The Front Line, No Problem!, Brookside, G.B.H., Moving Story, Cold Enough for Snow, Auf Wiedersehen, Pet and Doctors. On film, he was seen in Scum, Babylon and Water.

On stage, he appeared in productions of Lord Nelson Lives in Liverpool 8 and On the Ledge.
