Daniel Jillings (born 2nd September 1982 in Oldham) is a British actor who played a flirty waiter in Coronation Street in 2007 when he took the eye of Deirdre Barlow. He returned in 2009, 2010 and 2021 as PC Brody.

Ironically, he began his career as a policeman in Greater Manchester Police at the age of 19 and stayed in the force for ten years. Training in his new vocation at the Manchester School of Acting, he has also played roles in Emmerdale, Casualty, Doctors, The Royal, Prey, Hollyoaks, Four Lives and The Barking Murders. On film he has appeared in Enemy Lines and Wingmen and both acted in and co-wrote the short Pace.

Daniel has appeared in many theatre productions The Cure for Love, This Happy Breed, Red, Tea or Pee but the most memorable being one of the main character in the controversial theatre production The Newspaper Boy with Suranne Jones.

Along with Danny Miler, he co-founded the children's bereavement charity Once Upon a Smile in 2011.
