Zoe was a blonde teenager who dated David Platt from September to December 2009. She met David when he washed her hair at Audrey's salon and he asked her to go with him to Jason Grimshaw and Tina McIntyre's flat-warming party at 12 Coronation Street later that day. David was trying to make his ex-girlfriend Tina jealous in another attempt to split Jason and Tina up, but Tina seemed unimpressed with Zoe.
In November, David introduced Zoe to his mother Gail and Gail's partner Joe McIntyre. When Gail and Joe became engaged, David complained about it to Zoe, whereupon Zoe accused him of not considering any man to be good enough for his mum.
On 21st December, Zoe and David saw a drunk Tina stumble around in the street. Zoe was annoyed at David's lingering protectiveness of Tina and threatened to finish with him if he went over to help her, but David did so anyway.
