Hi folks, I know the first two Telethons have been discussed (briefly) before (here). I also have a little bit of information on the '92 Telethon special. Where should they be written about? I was thinking probably the Spin-offs page unless ITV Telethon Specials deserves a page of its own? TellyFan 11:47, August 27, 2010 (UTC)

Now that's wierd, when I searched earlier on nothing came up about the Telethon (I'm thinking I might not have been logged in and that was why?). I just tried again to reread the other half of the original conversation and about half a dozen articles came up! They linked to various suggested article names. I propose that they all link to a single "ITV Telethons" or "ITV Telethon Specials" page with sections for each one, rather than three seperate pages. Agreed? TellyFan 11:56, August 27, 2010 (UTC)
I think I would prefer there to be separate pages with only a link from the spin-offs page to the 1990 telethon as the 1988 was NOT a mini-episode of the programme with the actors in character. What happened in the 1992 one?--Jtomlin1uk 12:02, August 27, 2010 (UTC)
Vera went on a summer outing intent on reliving her courting days, while Reg Holdsworth took possession of a mysteriously shaped package (From Radio Times 1993 Yearbook).
The advantage of having them all on one page is that there could be a brief introduction outlining what the Telethon was (mentioning the 27 hours, Michael Aspel always hosting and suchlike). Also, unless you can recall any more about the 1990 one other than what you wrote on David's talk page, all three would be little more than stub pages. Anyway, sadly that is all the information I have on the 1992 one, so I'll leave you guys to do what you think best with it.TellyFan 12:50, August 27, 2010 (UTC)
