For those that don't know, Wikia is rolling out a new design on every Wiki so if Corriepedia doesn't look different to you yet it will soon. I thought it would be good to have one place where we could ask any questions or raise issues relating to the new look, and I've found a few already.
- Pages with tables seem to be the worst affected. The list of appearance pages will need to be edited so that there are only four columns listed in each year. I don't know what to do about List of weddings (as I've noted in it's talk page).
- I've had a go at improving Coronation Street in 2010. With some expansion in the header, I think the title caption looks better right aligned instead of centered, the episode table is widened, and I've now listed the cast in one column.
This is going to take some getting used to. Frankly, it doesn't really feel like I'm on Corriepedia at the moment! David 15:33, October 20, 2010 (UTC)
- The list of weddings looked okay to me but I'll check on my other pc tonight. The major problem I've found so far (aside from you can't check which pages "wanted" pages are linked to before you create them (I've raised that on the Wikia community log but it doesn't look good) is the category pages for the lists of episodes - the columns which used to be nicely aligned, are now really out of kilter for the latter part of the year where the page name is longer due to the name of the month being longer. Not a fan of the new look so far. It's not a disaster but it all seems so unnecessary. Change for changes sake.--Jtomlin1uk 16:43, October 20, 2010 (UTC)
