Frank Miller was a lorry driver from the south and one of Alma Sedgewick's men friends, as well as a customer in Jim's Cafe. He had not seen Alma for a while as he had been booked to go on a run to Turkey to deliver a load of chickens but instead he had taken sausage rolls to Spain. He brought Alma back a present of a scarf and took her out for the day, annoying Gail Tilsley who wanted her lunch off in order to receive a rare phone call from Brian who was working in Qatar.
