Gabrielle Mary Hamilton (born 16th June 1923 in Edmonton, Middlesex; died 25th June 2014 in Hillingdon, London) appeared on Coronation Street in April 1971 as Mrs Waldron, a disgruntled Camera Shop customer.

She also appeared in Great Expectations, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, Middlemarch, Merry-Go-Round, Z Cars, Wives and Daughters, Cranford, the John Finch-scripted series Sam, Crown Court, The Secret Garden, The Peppermint Pig, Strike It Rich!, The Tomorrow People, EastEnders, Casualty, Silent Witness, Footballers Wive$: Extra Time and Going Postal.

Film appearances included The Man from Nowhere, Murder on Line One and Before the Rain. On radio, she was heard in Voices, a special production to mark the 75th birthday of Harold Pinter.

On stage, she appeared in productions of Venus Observed, Romanoff and Juliet, Celebration, The Survivors, Mother Courage and her Children, The Apple Cart, War and Peace, Puntila, Hedda Gabler, Pygmalion, Murder at the Vicarage, Lizzie Dripping and the Witch, Something's Afoot, The Caucasian Chalk Circle, Doctor Faustus, Under the Web, Tovarich, Tartuffe and Cold Hands.
