Gaynor Faye was born "Gaynor Faye Mellor" on 26th August, 1971 in Leeds and is the daughter of TV producer and writer Kay Mellor. In Coronation Street she played Judy Mallett from 1995 to 1999. Other parts have included Holly Quinn in Playing the Field, Lauren Harris in Fat Friends, Georgia Lovett in Between the Sheets and Anna Williams Bedford in The Chase. As well as this Gaynor won the ITV show Dancing on Ice in 2006 and subsequently released a fitness DVD based on her routines. She joined the cast of Emmmerdale in February 2012.
