Glen Mortimer appeared on Coronation Street in March 2016 as ice cream man Neville who was a friend of Michael Rodwell.
His other television credits include Truckers, Till We Meet Again, The Darling Buds of May, Emmerdale, Heartbeat, A Touch of Frost, The Grand, At Home with the Braithwaites, Always and Everyone, Nightmare in Suburbia, Killing the Truth and Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell. He also appeared in the TV movie Hillsborough and the short films Kassia, Carbooty, Bare Feet and Tables Turned.
On the other side of the camera he both wrote and directed Seeing Smoke and Vengeance.
Glen is the Artistic Director at Stirling Academy in Bolton.
