Globex Photographics were a firm of professional commercial photographers based on Jay Street who had an open position advertised when Ernest Bishop's business had folded in 1976. Miss Hurst at the Job Centre rang Mr Marshall at the firm on Ernie's behalf only to be told that the job had been filled a couple of hours before.
