The unnamed Governor oversaw the running of Norcross Prison where Fiz Stape was incarcerated in 2011. After inmate Ginny Portis suffered from an overdose, she questioned Fiz about the drugs which were being supplied throughout the prison at the time. Fiz initially denied any knowledge but eventually confessed what she knew and that the supplier was Ruth Walsh. In exchange for this information, she was given a place in the mother and baby unit.
The governor later allowed Fiz to visit dying husband John after he was critically injured in a car crash, partly due to the fact that she had previously told her about the drugs.
