Graeme Rooney appeared in Coronation Street in June 2014 as a facilitator at a restorative justice meeting between Gail McIntyre and Michael Rodwell.
He trained at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and has also appeared in Taggart, Wedding Belles, Rebus, Skins, Casualty, Ashes to Ashes, Rab C. Nesbitt, Case Histories, Holby City, M.I.High, Bad Education, Doc Martin, The Ginge, the Geordie and the Geek (which he co-created and co-wrote initially for the stage), Edge of Heaven, All at Sea, In and Out of the Kitchen, Doctors and Annika.
Film roles include parts in The Clan, The Violators amd Ashes.
On the stage, he has appeared in Mancub, Unforgiven, The Doll Tower, Cinderella, Europe, Rough Cuts, Mental, Childish Things, Sex and The Three Day Week and The Play That Goes Wrong.
