Hayley Doherty appeared on Coronation Street in two roles: firstly in July 2016 as a Spa Attendant at the Morgrave Hall Hotel and Spa who provided Dev Alahan with treatments; and she returned to the programme in November 2018 as Susan Maplecroft, a teacher at Bessie Street School.
She graduated from Bristol Old Vic Theatre School in 2004.
Her other credits include roles in The Bill, Silent Witness, Accused, Death Comes to Pemberley and Peaky Blinders, along with the short films Noir, Ladies, The Joy of 8mls, Really Lost, Today!, Turbulence, Framed, and the 2018 feature film Jade.
On stage she has appeared in several productions including Romeo and Juliet, The Two Noble Kinsman, Paradise Lost, Wait Until Dark, The Most Humane Way to Kill a Lobster, The Ultimatum, The Importance of Shoes, The Master Builder, Tom's Midnight Garden, Move Over Mrs Markham, Macbeth, Jack, Living Quarters, The Snow Queen, Don't Dress for Dinner and A Fortunate Man.
She has also voiced many adaptations on BBC Radio.
