An unnamed Constable who worked at a Weatherfield police station in 1961. He was dispatched to Coronation Street to break the news to Frank Barlow that his wife Ida had been killed after being hit by a bus. When Alf Roberts answered the door at No.3, the Constable was keen to "get it over with", telling Alf the news rather bluntly.
