Ian Bleasdale (born 1952 in Upholland, Lancashire) appeared on Coronation Street in two roles: firstly in August 1982 as Weatherfield Gazette reporter Frank; and he returned to the programme in February 1985 as David Millward.

He initially trained as a teacher before pursuing a career in acting and is probably best known for his portrayal of paramedic Josh Griffiths in the BBC's long-running drama series' Casualty and Holby City. Other credits include roles in Blakes 7, High Road, Crown Court, The Beiderbecke Affair, Andy Capp, Emmerdale, Drop the Dead Donkey, Heartbeat, The Bill, Doctors, Law & Order: UK along with the films A Flame to the Phoenix and Wetherby.

On stage he has appeared in productions of Sixty Five Miles and Once Upon A Time in Wigan.
