Ian Scott was an ex-boyfriend of Eva Price and owner of Bardwell Wine Merchants who Eva offered to put in contact with Nick Tilsley.
Ian arrived at Nick's Bistro and made a deal with Nick. When Ian failed to deliver as the business had been declared bankrupt, Nick lost money whilst receiving no stock. Eva promised to get him either the wine or his money back and she broke into the warehouse with Nick and "liberated" the wine.
