His other credits include A Family at War, General Hospital, Microbes and Men, Centre Play, The Life and Times of David Lloyd George, Taff Acre, The District Nurse, Pie in the Sky and A Mind to Kill.

On stage, he appeared in productions of Thieves on Board, The Batterpool Business, The Royal Pardon, Spring and Port Wine, Pygmalion, Breaking the Silence, Saved, The Beheading, The Keep and Macbeth.

His father was the late actor Meredith Edwards, who himself appeared on Coronation Street.
