Actress and writer Irma Inniss appeared in Coronation Street in April 2008 as a Hospital Registrar who dealt with Maria Connor after she discovered that her baby was stillborn.
Continuing the medical theme, she appeared in several episodes of Casualty as Ruth Abbott in 2004 and has also appeared in Doctors. Aside from other roles in Grange Hill and The Bill, she was a script editor on EastEnders for a spell in 2003.
On stage she appeared in Sleeping Beauty at London’s Unicorn Theatre in 2009 and the satirical play 35 Cents in 2007.
