Jack Carr (born 21st November 1944 in Norfolk, died 21st January 2019) appeared in Coronation Street from October to December 1984 as Police Sergeant Tony Cunliffe.

He also appeared in Castle Haven, Special Branch, Softly Softly: Task Force, a regular role in Z Cars from 1971 to 1972 as PC Covill, Crown Court, When the Boat Comes In, The Sweeney, Bergerac, Brookside, Juliet Bravo, The Return of Sherlock Holmes, a regular role in Emmerdale Farm as Tom Merrick sporadically between 1984 and 1988, Making Out, How We Used to Live, All Creatures Great and Small, The Chief, Chances, Medics, Between the Lines, Casualty, Heartbeat, Hetty Wainthropp Investigates, Peak Practice, The Bill and Doctors.

Film roles include 10 Rillington Place and The Crying Game.

On stage he appeared in The War of the Roses, The Nose and St Joan.

For radio, he was heard in a 1972 dramatisation of Sylvia's Lovers, The Kidnappers, The British Army and the British Soldier and several productions of Afternoon Theatre, Drama Now, Saturday-Night Theatre and Midweek Theatre.
