Born in London and brought up in Devon, she made her film debut aged two when her film producer uncle put her in the movie Lost. Her physiotherapist father read her Shakespeare and she decided to train as an actress at the Rose Bruford College of Speech and Drama.
She has also appeared in The Monocled Mutineer, Bulman, The Return of the Antelope, The Bill, The Governor and Hetty Wainthropp Investigates.
Stage work includes Cross Oka, The Man of Mode, Restoration and Mary and Lizzie, many of which were for the Royal Shakespeare Company where she worked for two years.
On radio she was heard in Hulme Stories, Kissing the Gargoyle, This Should Be My Wedding Day, Dead Souls, Gear Change, The School for Scandal, Madame Bovary, On the Eve, Fat, Henry IV Parts 1 and 2 and Wedding Rings and Space Suits.
