Jason Hetherington was born 10th April, 1965 in Glasgow.
He trained as an actor at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama and appeared in Coronation Street between January and March 1998 as DS Wyatt who investigated the scams perpetrated by Jon Lindsay for which Deirdre Rachid was also falsely accused and briefly imprisoned.
His other roles on television include parts in Grange Hill, Bad Girls, Taggart, Waking the Dead and Rebus while his films include Aberdeen and Complicity. When not acting he runs his own computer consultancy business.
