Joanne Rowden appeared on Coronation Street between July and October 2000 as Paula Shipley, a Blackpool resident and love interest of the newly widowed Gary Mallett.
Graduating from Middlesex University with a BA (Hons) in Performing Arts, her other credits include roles in Always and Everyone, The Secret, Clocking Off, Heartbeat, No Angels, Emmerdale, The Royal, Tracy Beaker Returns and Last Tango in Halifax.
On stage she has appeared in productions of Buddy, Rockula, Only the Lonely, The Fly and Oliver. Joanne plays Frida in the internationally renowned Bjorn Again.
