John McGregor played two roles on Coronation Street: the Registrar at the wedding of Elsie Tanner and Alan Howard in July 1970 (where he was credited in error as "John McRegor") and Dr. Brooks who attended an injured Len Fairclough in October 1976.
He had a long history of working for Granada Television in series such as The Verdict is Yours, Confession, Adam Smith, Sam, How We Used to Live, The Cuckoo Waltz, Send in the Girls, Crown Court, The Jewel in the Crown and Bulman. He also provided voice work for What the Papers Say and was the presenter for World in Action and On Site.
