John Wheatley (born 16th October 1949 in Bradford, Yorkshire) played Gary Hankins on Coronation Street in 1977, and Joe Broughton from 1993 to 1994. His other credits include Bugs, The Professionals, Casualty, Silent Witness, Kavanagh QC, The Practice, Wycliffe, Game, Set and Match, Nanny and The Bill.
