John White (7th November 1936 - 28th September 1993) appeared in Coronation Street in November 1980 as Builder's Yard customer Bob Atkinson.
One of his earliest roles was the regular part of Giles Farmer in Emergency-Ward 10 and he also appeared in Z Cars, Play for Today, The Adventures of Black Beauty, Napoleon and Love, Softly Softly: Task Force , When the Boat Comes In, The Cuckoo Waltz, Secret Army, Hot Metal and London's Burning.
