Jonathan Coy (born 24th April 1953 in Hammersmith, London) appeared on Coronation Street in January 1977 as Stanley Fairclough (the role was previously played by Peter Noone in 1961 and Ronald Cunliffe in 1967).

His other television credits include roles in Crown Court, Rumpole of the Bailey, Jenny's War, Gems, Boon, Colin's Sandwich, Never Come Back, Chancer, The Darling Buds of May, Lovejoy, Middlemarch, The Rector's Wife, The Bill, Annie's Bar, Madson, Original Sin, Underworld, Heartbeat, Grafters, Relative Strangers, The Scarlet Pimpernel, The Secret Adventures of Jules Verne, Judge John Deed, Death in Holy Orders, My Dad's the Prime Minister, The Pillars of the Earth, Ladies of Letters, Downton Abbey, Parade's End, Des, Anatomy of a Scandal and Great Expectations.

Film roles include Maschenka, The Wolves of WIlloughby Chase, To Kill a King, Shoreditch, Alien Autopsy, Hell's Pavement, Much Ado About Nothing and I Came By.

He was previously married to actress Louisa Rix, who herself appeared on Coronation Street. The couple subsequently divorced.
