Jonno Richardson was Peter Barlow's sponsor from Alcoholics Anonymous who was admitted to Weatherfield General after suffering a relapse in December 2011. When visiting Jonno at the hospital, Peter was shocked to see how far Jonno's health had deteriorated since he fell off the wagon and the prognosis wasn't good.
Later that same day, Howard Lee delivered the news to Peter that Jonno had passed away after discharging himself and purchasing whisky, before collapsing and being unable to be saved.
