Juliet Cooke appeared on Coronation Street as Muriel Fielding, an angry wife whose husband Bill had stayed overnight with Elsie Tanner in April 1981.

Her other credits include roles in My Sister and I, Z Cars, The Plane Makers, Open All Hours, Last of the Summer Wine and the films Strictly for the Birds and It Shouldn't Happen to a Vet. On stage she has appeared in productions of Twelfth Night, Measure for Measure, A Midsummer Night's Dream, King Lear, Henry VIII, Hamlet, Tartuffe, The Magistrate, Julius Caesar, Macbeth and Billy Liar.
