Karen Henthorn (born 1963 in Oldham) appeared on Coronation Street between March 2007 and May 2010 as Teresa Bryant.

Her interest in drama first began as a twelve-year-old when she joined the Oldham Theatre Workshop and was cast in her first professional role aged thirteen, playing Betty Parris in Manchester Contact's Theatre production of The Crucible. After leaving school she then completed a further five years in full-time drama education: a two-year foundation course in Theatre Studies at her local college followed by three years at London's Method Acting School, The Drama Centre.

Her other on-screen credits include roles in Children's Ward, Boon, EastEnders, Silent Witness, Born and Bred, Shameless, Dalziel and Pascoe, The Bill, Holby City, Heartbeat, Casualty, Trollied, Young Dracula, Doctors, Homefront and In the Flesh.

Alongside acting, she maintains a teaching career, chiefly as a module leader for the BA (Hons) screen acting courses at the Italia Conti Academy and Manchester Metropolitan University.
