Kate Normington appeared as Pamela Teal in the 2008 spin-off DVD Coronation Street: Out of Africa.
As well as being an actress, she is a singer and cabaret artist best known for her work in musical theatre, notably in Nunsense, Sweeney Todd and Hair.
Aside from her work in her native South Africa, she appeared on the British stage in Sunset Boulevard, Aspects of Love, Tell Me on a Sunday, Into the Woods and Annie.
She has appeared in the South African Broadcasting Corporation's series' On the Couch and Society 2.
