Kathy Jones (born ? ?, 1955 in Manchester) played Tricia Hopkins on Coronation Street from 1973 to 1976, although the actress had appeared on the programme previously as a non-speaking extra. Kathy also appeared in a 1978 episode of All Creatures Great And Small.

In 1967 she won Best Female Vocalist in the Granada Television talent show First Timers and then the following year was a series winner of the talent show Opportunity Knocks.

She then presented her own shows for Granada called Handful of Songs, followed by Songbook and Kathy's Quiz. She has also appeared in many pantomimes and musicals. She made an LP for EMI in 1974 called A Handful of Songs recorded at Abbey Road Studios in London.
